Getting Started Guide

Welcome to ChangeChampion™, your all-in-one change management platform. You’re here to support a change effort (perhaps a system rollout, restructuring, or another project), and ChangeChampion™ is designed to help you every step of the way.

In the platform, you’ll find three main sections: Tools, Templates, and Help. Below is an overview to help you get oriented and understand when to use each tool.

Tools

The Tools section contains specialized, AI-powered helpers for change management. Each tool has a unique purpose:

Thought Partner – This is your AI-driven virtual expert. Use it anytime to brainstorm ideas, ask questions, and get advice. For example, chat with Thought Partner to draft messages, role-play a resistant stakeholder, or refine your strategy. It’s like having an experienced change consultant available 24/7 for open-ended discussion.

Readiness Assessment – Start here to evaluate how prepared your organization is for change. This tool walks you through key readiness factors (like leadership support, resources, and culture) and highlights your strengths and areas to build on. It’s especially useful at the beginning of a project to create a baseline and identify what needs attention before you move forward.

Power Mapping – Use Power Mapping to identify and analyze your stakeholders. This tool helps you list who will be affected by the change, rate their influence and attitude (supportive, neutral, resistant), and map their relationships. The visual map it creates guides you in prioritizing communications and engagement strategies based on who has the most impact.

SWOT Analysis – SWOT stands for Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats. This tool helps you brainstorm and evaluate the internal and external factors influencing your change effort. For instance, you might list strengths like leadership buy-in, weaknesses like limited training resources, opportunities such as market trends, and threats like competing initiatives. A SWOT Analysis gives you a strategic overview to shape your plan.

Survey Analyzer – After you collect feedback through surveys (for example, employee opinion surveys about the change), use Survey Analyzer to make sense of the data. Upload your spreadsheet of responses, and the tool will perform advanced sentiment analysis. It highlights common themes, feelings, and areas of concern from your audience. This insight helps you identify what’s working and what needs more attention (for example, if many people are anxious about a new process).

Critique My Content – Before you finalize any documents (project plans, communications, presentations, etc.), run them through Critique My Content. Paste in your draft content, and this tool will review it just like a writing coach. It suggests ways to improve clarity, persuasiveness, grammar, and tone. Use it to polish emails, reports, slide decks, and more so that your messages are clear and professional.

Templates

The Templates section provides professionally designed, downloadable files to jump start your work.

You’ll find customizable templates for planning documents, reports, slide presentations, and communications — all created by expert change management consultants. For example, you might download a Change Communications Plan template or a Project Status Report template. These templates come with best-practice structures and example text. Simply fill in your project details to save time and ensure you cover all the key information.

Help Section

If you ever need guidance, head to the Help section in the platform.

Overview – A high-level introduction to ChangeChampion’s features and sections.
Prompt Ideas – Suggestions for questions and prompts to try in tools like Thought Partner (great if you need inspiration on what to ask).
Get Support – A place to send feedback, report any issues, or purchase support hours.
Guides – Various resources meant to help both new and experienced users.

As you explore and start using ChangeChampion™, remember: you don’t have to figure it all out on your own. While the tools and templates are designed to empower you to lead change confidently, we also know that some situations require a human sounding board.
